The Kin Kin ride was a good day, we pulled up at ricks and there was another 40 or so bikes there thanks to Rick and Mike Folley's organizing skills.
There was plenty of good food and coffee to be had for breakfast and we got away about an hour later after fueling up, handy place is Rick's. The other bikes left earlier than us as they got there pretty early, they reckon we were all late but I don't think so??
We took the back road through Yandina and out on the highway at Eumundi, had a stop at Matilda's south of Gympie and met up with a few of the riders from Rick's. We headed north and down the Tin Can Bay Road through Cedar Creek and into Kin Kin. A good road through Cedar Creek, a little rough here and there but the country sure makes up for it "beautiful country" really.
We stayed there for a few hours at the Kin Kin pub, they put on a spit roast every second Sunday, we were lucky enough to be there on the right day, great feed. Left Kin Kin fueled up at Pomona and rode through town past 100 or so Harleys out with Morgan and Wacker. Murf's over from America for a while and did well staying on the left hand side of the road all except the Pomona round about where he counted one exit too many and road through town on the other side, lucky no one was coming.
Last stop was Ettamogah, as it is occasionally. Craig had to wring his bike a little on the highway keeping up with our "ex safety officer" hands out the "how we should ride" pamphlets and then plays up, we should bring in a fine system but then he'd probably always be broke.
